This old bandsaw belongs to Vic Crouse of Thornville Kwa Zulu Natal South Africa. The band saw is the earliest model I have seen. It is fitted with solid wheels, the table has no slot cut in it, an usual lamp cover which apparently came with the saw, there are no protective covers at the rear, there is no other badging bar the name DELTA cast into the back of the frame. The motor is an original Delta with bullet cover.
An additional pulley gadget has been attached to the back legs presumably to adjust speed low enough to cut metal.
