Found this jigsaw at a local yard sale back in early May. It set me back $20.oo.I did not realize how nice this saw was. When I got it home and inspected it I knew. I checked out the saw on the MS. It dates to the early to mid 30's. The saw was 100%complete. It had no missing parts, factory #903 steel stand and a Delta 822 lamp to boot. The only part that was bad was the dry-rotted blower tubes. The original color was a faded blue, that was flaking off. I bead blasted and primed all castings, wire brushed and polished all finished parts. The castings were quite rough. I figured it was a good canidate for a hammer finish paint. My local big box stores only carried the basic colors. I wanted blue like the original but settled for a brushed on Rust-olum dk green. I did not care for the color after 2 coats. So, I spray painted with Ace hardware's Machine & implement -international blue and got the color I wanted with the hammer texture effect. All back together and a great looking owwm.>Gene
