Comments:
This table saw belonged to my Father and was his first saw. I remember watching him make things in our basement when I was 5 years old.

It has never acquired much rust but had a thick layer of resin and sawdust on the frame and was mounted on a flimsy wood stand. Last year I decided that it would be a good introduction to restoring woodworking machinery.

It received a good cleaning, fresh paint, and new bearings for the motor, which is original to the saw. The blade guard is also original to the saw but somehow the mounting bracket has been lost. Unfortunately, the Dunlap decal was too tattered to mask while painting. The new base takes up less space and stores easier.

I occasionally make doll house furniture and this saw is just the right size. I'll be using it with a home-made zero-clearance insert.
