Comments:

This is the 8-speed version of the steel bed 11" lathe, made from about 1933 to 1937. In 1938, it was replaced by the 16-speed version. A cast-iron bed replaced the fabricated steel bed in 1941, that lathe subsequently becoming the Homecraft 11" lathe after WWII. The band saw to the right is a Delta model 785 10" of mid-1930s vintage.
