I bought this press from a local EBay seller for $125.00. The equivalent Atlas version sold on the Bay at the same time for $431.00, so I'm happy with my purchase. A previous owner had (poorly) re-painted this press so I completely disassembled, stripped, and re-painted with a home brew of Rustoleum blue and red paint. My goal was to achieve the original Craftsman purple-blue color. I elected to keep the original bearings because they seemed to be in good condition. The spindle guard was missing in action, so I turned a new one out of Walnut.
