I purchased this in March from a gent that said it was his Grandfather's. Light switch for on/off. brass sleeve bearing motor-1/2 hp. He started it for me, could tell the bearings were at their end. It's as easy to restore two as it is one. C/H has been re-bearinged. Stand has been stripped and repainted. Note: The thickness of metal on this paw-foot stand is way heavier than on the later (1970) stand. Shouldn't be surprised. This jointer has taken a back seat as I've got way interested in the Wallace # 6.
