This mortiser was purchased off ebay in May 2007 from a millwork shop in Jamestown, NY. It has one complete chisel, bit, and bushing, giving me something to make new bushings for modern chisels and bits. It has a 5hp 3 phase direct drive motor. The bronze worm gear is damaged, which makes the automatic osscilation function not work properly. There is also a small stud gear with 2 missing teeth. The machine is complete and original. Weighs in at 1500 lbs. I will look to replace the worn gears and have an operational machine in the near future.
