There are no records of a Frank planer in the records and these photos will do little more than show that one exists. I wasn't able to get to much info on this, but I got the feeling that for the right price it would be sold. This planer was spotted at a road side lumber operation in central NY. The power source is a tractor seen in photo #2, top center, way in the back ground, it is a rough-n-ready red old cob. I believe the belting for this is lying on top of the planer and the owner stated that it does run, but "when exactly" is a ? More photos/discussion at this link: http://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?p=149928#149928 This planer is no longer on the property, along with a lot of the junk shown in the photos. I drive by the lumber operation site a few times a year and I haven't seen it for quite awhile.
