My father in law knows that I like old things. He picked this up some time ago at a relative's estate sale for $1. He couldn't bear the thought of it going to the scrap heap. He dropped it off with me yesterday. He said he should get at least $1.10 to cover his costs. I've always like trimmers, but I haven't had one myself - until now.

The photo of the name tag shows some oil I dropped into the cutter track. I couldn't resist cleaning it up a little and slicing some oak. I think I'll go for the full restoration - it looks really nice and complete.
