Picked up January, 2007 from offering on craigslist. Completed restoration mid-May, 2007.

As found, it was on original factory stand, but missing cutter guard and absent chip chute. All bare metal surfaces covered in light rust. Motor clogged with sawdust and not running.

General cleanup, derusting, new bearings, paint and sharpening of knives. Made cutter guard and chip chute. New switch to replace light switch and locking casters for mobility.

Tables and fence are heavy castings. Entire fence assembly is made of cast iron, no pot metal here. Fence alone weighs 30 lbs.

Bearings are standard size, 1623. Painted hammered Light Blue as closest off-shelf finish match to original Sprunger hammered blue/green. Manufacture date based on serial number with help from Brian Kachadurian. Thanks, Brian.
