This drill press was saved from going to the dump. A local chainsaw place here in Vancouver, B.C. had decided that an upgrade to a more modern machine was needed, and asked me if I wanted it. It took me quite a long time to figure out what the extra pulley is used for, but I finally found a copy of the spec. sheet on this website. It's a Multi-Speed attachment for speeds up to 11,000rpm.
