I'm a Tool and Die maker by trade and have retired from that now, I have always loved precision woorking. So in the past 5 years or so i have been collecting old wood working machines, bandsaws, lathes, radial arm saws, jointers, tablesaws etc. and restoring them as close as i can get them back to there originality. These are the machines i do my wood work with now. Not this old stamped out sheet metal or plastic junk they call machines.
How i got this machine ? Well my wifeand i were on our way to Lake Okeechobee, Fl to pick up her mother for Easter as we went thru the town of Okeechobee i saw an old scrap yard with old tractors and all kinds of good stuff. ( not a automobile salvage yard now )
So on the way back home i decided to stop in and browse. The owner asked if he could help me, and i told him i was looking for old wood working tools, he said he had a radial arm saw for sale, so i had a look at it and bought it for $75.00. Took it home and started the restore process, i very pleased with the results and hope you are too. I'm looking for the owners manual, i printed one off OWWM it's the Super 900 manual but it's not the right one, but it's close enough, theres only a few things different between the two, any help would be appreciated, Thanks Doug Ross
