I purchased this saw from a scrap metal dealer. It had come out of a timber mill in the south western corner of Australia. Perhaps it was imported during The Great War in response to a shortage of imports from the U.K. I've since sold it on in the same condition as purchased.

Bearing blocks attached to original babbit half. Tables have been raised to clear the wheel. I'll leave it as an excercise for the reader to find the trivial solution to getting the wheel back to the correct height.
