Being a plumber by trade I routinely see peoples houses and basements in particular. While on a service call at a customers house, to find the reason why he had a $250 water bill, I stumbled upon a basement workshop while looking for the bathroom in the basement. In it he had a few pieces of old arn, Dewalt RAS, Craftsman drill press, and some older hand held power tools. After fixing the over running toilet in the basement, I inquired about the tools and he said he hadn't used them in at least 10 years. He said he would sell them as he was moving into a condo, I offered $50 for the RAS and he nice try but it has to be worth more than that. I countered with $100, he thought about it for a while and hesitated. So I said I would throw in a free service call with the hundred bucks and he agreed readily. Its expensive to get a plumber, Good thing for me, gives good leverage when trying to deal on old arn. Anyway he bought it new in what he thought was 1964, and had used it occasionally in his basement shop. It is in mint condition, the paint is perfect, hardly a scratch on it. Only one problem it has is the handle to raise and lower it was broken. He said a long board fell on it and broke it off. If anyone has a lead on a handle please let me know, havent had much luck on flea-bay, or anywhere else trying to find one.
