Comments:
This machine was acquired in San Francisco for $175. The underside of the arm where the casting is normaly machined after painting is painted the original green. I have never seen another GWI painted in this manner. The machining on the arm is also different than the other GWI's I have seen. I can only speculate that Dewalt made a lot of GWI's in 1957 and used a sub-contractor to help keep up with production, thus the variation in manufacturing.
The machine is in remarkably good condition for its age.
