Listed on CList in the bay area for a week or so as: "Delta 6 inch jointer, vintage 440 volt" - w/no picture. Did my best to stay away as I am presently restoring two Delta 4 inch jointers. My living room is full. The seller (semi-retired cabinet maker) stated that he had acquired it many years prior with the intent to restore it, from a school. "Now it is time to pass it along". Nice man. I saw the 667 CI base and it was love a first site. I have wanted a Delta art deco ci stand since I can remember. 3/4hp/220/440v/3ph Delta Motor Model-86-720, ser#P6009, frame 66Y.(by A.O. Smith). Bearings are all stiff. If I sat in one place so long, I'd be stiff too. Seller was kind enough to allow me to dimantle the machine prior to transport. I will enjoy this restoration. Needs a complete fence assembly. 667 ci base stand all intact, less switch. I look forward to this restoration. Where do they get that green paint?

UpDate: 5/28/2007. I found this fence & have recently de-rusted it via the spooge tank process. Thanks Ya'll. Cutter head bearings being replaced a the electric motor guru's shop. Have been practicing in 37-290's. SOON.
