Bought this machine from a police officer in Vancouver who had it listed on craig's list. He had never gotten it working, and didn't know what the problem was. I think it may have been wired incorrectly at some point resulting in the self-destruction of the potential relay. Hopefull I can get to the bottom of the issues soon with help from the very knowledgeable folks on the OWWM.org site and get it up and running. It's a great looking machine IMHO. Everything is nice and tight, and apparently the owner before the last one replaced the bearings in the motor. (Possibly the cause of the wiring mixup and subsequent explosion.) Apparently the "L" in the model # is for the Long arm version of this machine. It has about six more inches of crosscut capacity than the regular 40-C
