Add jointers to the list of machinery made by P. Pryibil. Here's a 2 knife Roundhead, made in Manhattan, with a beautiful heavy base casting and clean out door. Qualities perhaps lost on the guy who fabricated the rough power conversion with its steel plate base rudely torched out. The motor is a huge continuous duty 7.5 hp Allis Chalmers! This machine has gold lettering on the back (drive side) of the casting that reads "Woodcraft Equipment Co. New York NY" Woodcraft Supply tells me they used to broker machinery in the 20's and 30's but only out of Boston never New York. This Jointer (as well as the 24" Atlantic listed on this site) are from the historic Minneford's Yacht Yard on City Island NY and were used to build many famous world class watercraft, such as Dorade, Intrepid and Enterprise etc.
