The number listed in serial number space is written in side the motor cabinet door,it could be the catalog Item number. I purchased it from the original owner it has been in storage for over fifty years. When I removed the band from the wheels the tires fell off in pieces. There are no signs of useage on the guides, the guide bearings were dried out stiff to rotate. I replaced guide bearings and tires. The band wheels are already crowned, makes the tire replacement easy. Saw has 14" throat, 8-5/8" head clearance.4100 feet per minute band speed. Really cuts smooth. Heavey built saw when comparing with other 14" saws I seen and worked on.
