This is my Walker/Turner. There is a matching 6" jointer. They are still in their original paint. They were purchased by my dad new, with money saved during WWII. Engineering is very good on this machine.

I did change the on/off switch. My original switch failed and started the saw one day all by itself. I have been trying to keep it original but I draw the line when the table saw ghosts are about to cut my fingers off. I was able to find a close match bat-handle switch at Lowe's. Also rewired with new black cord. Looks like new.

I also installed new bearings in the arbor. They are stock at any bearing house. Had to find a snap ring to fit the original grove in the shaft. It did require new shims to get it tight. I also aligned the arbor with the table recently. It now is a pleasure to use because the miter is a perfect 90 degrees. Had to mill out the holes in the rear mount block to get the room to come square.

Has original driver line motor. Have to blow the dust out regularly. Power is no problem with sharp blades. I have one 9" original WT blade for it. The original miter gauge is perfect. I recently learned how to set it and it works perfectly now. Was going to replace, but not needed now. Good as any top line miter. 6" dust control has been added and works great. Need to close cabinet some. Wood platform is so saw can be moved with a pallet hand truck.
