The last big machine out of the Petersen Boatyard in Nyack,N.Y.The sander weighs in around 8600 lbs.and had to be moved from inside the building across a uneven wood floor to outside across a wood deck on machine skates to where the forklift could pick it up.It took about 3 1/2 hours of jacking, prying, rolling, use of a cable jack and a lot of chains.Like the rest of the machines this machine is in very good working condition. The first head is 10 h.p. and the second head is 7 1/2 h.p.,both are 220 volts,3 phase. The endless bed is mechanical feed as is the raise and lowering of the bed height.I plan on keeping this machine for use in the shop.
