Purchased this machine as part of a lot from a school district in Cincinnati.
The machine was 1hp 3phase and the top was badly rusted.
Removed top and had some friends at Cincinnati Milacron fix the top and inserts by Blanchard grinding the top,and also grinding the miter gage bar to match. Cost:1 box of donuts.
Repainted cabinet due to many years of funk.
Installed a 1.5 hp Baldor motor, added a Allen Bradley pushbutton set and a Furnas starter
wired for 220v.All wiring by me.
Shaper fence is scrounged from a Delta light Duty shaper from the 50s
The shaper only had a 1\2 in spindle.Yates and their distributor Broadhead Garret won't help due to liability issues.
If anyone can help I need the 3\4 spindle, they made 2 versions (HELP)
I use this machine weekly for mouldings, raised panel, and rail n stile work.
I prefer it to my 3 1\4 hp table router as it is solid and quiet
