I purchased this saw on E-Bay in 2006 for $50. It was used at a technical college in Houston Texas for yeas. I spent 3 months restoring this unit. It has been sandblasted and has a new coat of black enamel paint. I opened up the gear box and replaced all the bearings. It has a small oil leak, but what great saw doesnt? One part of one tooth of a gear is chipped off so the saw has a bit more vibration than I would like. The previous owner must have had a Biesmeyer fence since mine fit perfectly. This saw has plenty of power for the work that I do. I wish I could find another for spare parts.
