The pictured Oliver lathe, Model 66-A, was sold on eBay in June 2003. It was located in Las Vegas, NV when offered for sale and, according to the seller's estimate, weighs between 3000 and 4000 pounds. The seller believed this lathe to be an Oliver "Model 71".

The lathe's new owner has supplied the following details: Serial# 32550, 15" swing over the bed and 24" in the gap, 7' between centers with gap closed and 8'10" with gap opened. The lathe has 4 speeds forward and 4 speeds reverse. Despite what the seller indicated in the eBay offering, Oliver didn't make a model 71 lathe... so this one should be recorded as the Model 66-A it is.
