I bought this machine at a school auction. It came with a new set of tires off of the machine and no tires on it. There were not enough total or enough different thicknesses of the "J" plates for the guides so I replaced the original guides with Carters. I restored the chip blower and the speed indicator and various other odds and ends. After the tires were installed (per Bob Vaughan's method) and crowned it worked beautifully. I had to sell it in the spring of 2006 when I got my Yates-American Y-30 due to lack of space. I was sorry to see it go. It was a great resaw band saw and it was tuned to a tee. It had the original Baldor made 3 phase 2 horsepower motor and I ran it with a VFD. It came with the original LVC which was bypassed for the VFD. I sold it with the machine but I wish I had kept it.
