I aquired this machine from a co worker. The history of the machine is a little fuzzy. It machine was aquired as surplus and picked up from the state pen in Mcalester OK and brought to Perry OK around 1939 to use in the local schools wood shop. When the machine was taken out of service in the school system, the local shop teacher aquired it. It was then passed to his son and grandson. I purchased it from the granson.
The original switch gear was missing and the machine was a basket case at that time, however the 4 speed, 3 phase motor was still functional so I brought it back from the weeds.
I would like to thank Steve Goeke for all of his assistance in reproducing the 400 tag for my machine. The tag on my machine is one of many parts that had to be fabricated to bring this old girl back.
