I got this machine from a friend of my brother-in-law near Bangor, WI on July 16, 2005. Sale price was $125.00.

I was never able to get a good pic of the machine assembled as it was nearly buried in junk when I first looked at it. Despite my request not to dismantle it before I arrived, the seller removed the wheels and some other parts before I got there.

According to the seller, he purchased it in 1960 or so from a elderly farmer who died shortly after the sale. The saw had not been used for some time prior to that. The wood table had already disintegrated. Apparently, the farmer had used it to resaw lumber on site powering the saw with a tractor PTO. The seller intended to fix it up, never following through. It sat outside for about 10 years then in his garage for the next 30+ years. It sits now in my shop being restored slowly but surely .

"Cordesman Egan & Co Cincinatti O" and a "Norther Machinery Company Minneaplis" badge are the only identifyable marks on the saw.
