A friend of mine said he had an old table saw and asked if I would be interested in it. I said yes and now have an old, age unknown Unisaw in my possesion. I hope to be able to restore it and use it as my primary table saw. The pictures I have posted show the saw as I received it. I have sent the front trunnions out to be welded to fix some stress cracks and I have cleaned the rust from the table top. I am in the process of cleaning, sanding and painting the rest of the components. Know features of this saw. The floor base is one piece cast ironthe upper portion is 4 pieces of sheet metal welded to form the support base. Table has 2 cast iron extensions with a cst iron top. The rip fence is one piece formed steel. The angle guide has a cast spoked knob for tightening the angle guide. Motor is a new 2 hp at 1725 rpm. Had to have the motor pully sleeved to fit. I am trying to find out the age of this saw, but this may take time.
