This table saw was purchased by my grandfather when he started cabinet making in the fifties. I'm the fourth family member to get my hands on it, however I don't believe it has been used since granddad gave it up in the late sixties. Bearing failure in the motor took it out of service and no one got around to swapping them. I grabbed it for parts scavaging when it was going to be tossed out. (I'm a collector of anything mechanical, my only criteria is that it makes you stop and say 'hmm, that could come in handy one day'.) Once I got it apart I realized that the parts are worth alot more together as intended. So I'm rebuilding it and plan to use it. Heck this thing is built well enough to be around in another fifty years for my grandkids to use. I have to give thanks to this web site for giving me some background on the manufacturer and firing up my enthusiasm. I'll update with another photo once she is up and sawing again. Hopefully I'll be able to pin down the date of purchase by then.
*HELP* Can anyone supply me with a photo of a motor mounting bracket (from any saw manufacturer) that accomodates the tilting arbour. I've got to fabricate one so seeing an example might prove helpful. Contact daveepp@aol.com
