As best as we can figure the saw is about a 1948, but that's just a guesstimate as it has the infamous 22-639 serial number. It was complete except for the switch cover and base and was in good condition considering it had been stored in a garage for over 20 years. I had to reconstruct the missing switch cover and made a replica base. Restoration consisted of a complete sandblast, repaint with original WT color, new bearings, new tires, new base, switch cover.

Some have asked about the specifics, below is some information that may be of help to those doing a like restoration.

Replacement Bearings
The bearings for the 14" and 16" Walker-Turner Band Saws are the same.

Top wheel bearings:
O.D. = (40mm);
Bore = (17mm);
Width = (12mm)

Bottom wheel bearings:

The original Lower Bearings have a non-standard bore.
The original bearing was MRC204 SF 5
BORE DIAMETER - 0.7495"(19MM = SPECIAL)
O.D.=1.8504" (47MM-standard)
WIDTH = 0.5512" (14MM - standard)

Satisfactory replacement 6204 RS
BORE DIAMETER - 0.7500"(19.05MM)
O.D. 1.8504" (47MM-standard)
WIDTH = 0.5512" )14MM - standard)
The replacement has rubber shields, much better with fine sawdust than the original.
Use the factory aluminum shields too.

Walker Turner Driver Line Paint color
Benjamin Moore "Impervo Alkyd High Gloss Metal and Wood Enamel" custom mixed to color #1575 is an exact match to the original W-T greenish blueish gray color.
