I picked this machine up at a used tool dealer for 200 bucks back in 2001. It wasn't in good shape. It has a duel voltage 3 phase or single phase motor depending on how its wired. Im currently running the lathe on 220-volt single-phase current. The original color of the machine was green as far as I could tell. I striped it down and repainted it with a two part industrial paint. I got a tad carried away with the details but this machine seemed like it would shine with that gold leaf here and there. I added a stainless steel chip deflector; you can see it in the last picture. I never did find a source for the rubber gasket material but it hasnt made a difference in operation. It runs so smooth I can balance a nickel on edge while it is running. Now thats craftsmanship!!
