Made a true trade for this machine with a friend from N. Mississippi. Traded him a few virgin cypress boards, some red oak boards, and a few old turning tools for the sander. A good friend fabricated the new top guard. I replaced all bearings, bead blasted entire machine, primed & rattle can painted machine. Upon reassembly, started rushing and broke the little belt adjusting horseshoe thingy. No longer available from Delta, couldn't get one on ebay, so I made one from a solid block of aluminum on my mill that took about 7 hours to make. Remember, don't rush reassembly. A 2 second screw up costed me 7 hours more work. Take your time. Works great now.
