I bought this drill press about 8 years ago for $125 and the mortising attachment at a garage sell for $10 about a year later on the slim chance it might fit, It did fit perfectly. This is the only machine I was able to salvage from a shop fire I had 6 years ago. I sent the the original Atlas motor out to be rebuilt and while waiting for it to come back home tore the machine down, cleaned, primed, and painted it with the closest rattle can color I could find. I used it with and without the mortising attachment (a real pain to switch it back and forth) for about 1 year until I got my Delta dedicated mortising machine and a new Delta 16" drill press. It's just been gathering dust since then but I just can't seem to part with it, besides it really doesn't take up much room.
