This saw belongs to OWWM member Rich Johnson who sent me the photos for submission. This saw was purchased by Rich in the early 80's from the American Auto Supply Co in Rochester, NY. The saw came with 3 miter gages, the original fence has been replaced with a Beisemeyer. This saw sees daily use primarily as a rip saw.

This is clearly an American Wood Working Machinery Co saw. From the serial number I would guess it to be from the late teens or early twenty's. The motor label has a later Yates-American tag on it so perhaps the motor was replaced at one time or it was factory reconditioned.
