Got together with the friend that helped me unearth this moulder about eight years ago from a large 'collection' near St. Louis., MO. I was reminded of the importance of it's history and age , as well as the extreme physical effort it took to just get it out the door of the building it was lodged in. It was repainted black, but a board that was mounted on frame to hold oil can fell off on the road home. That, plus the requisite thunderstorm that appears during the hauling of machines exposed original Fay paint. Green body with 3 stripe, black and red, pinstriping. Before puting in storage I removed more of the black paint to expose the colorful paint scheme as well as the brass main bearing caps. The frame is of the older bolt together construction as opposed to single piece casting.
