Comments:
I was pleased to purchase this saw in Chazy, New York in November, 2006. The provenance of the saw is unclear, however it is believed to have been used for many years in a blacksmith shop in Perry's Mills, New York, in the very northeast corner of the state.
The machine has original paint and is shown with the existing portion of its added guards and motor mount. The machine is of simple and heavy cast iron construction.
This is perhaps the oldest band saw yet archived here at OWWM.com, or close to it.
I have more photographs of this saw.
