Note: This entry was updated to add data to the Machine Specifications fields (DP size and model info.) In addition, the estimated date of manufacture was updated from member's estimate of "1940's" to a date range of 1936-37. This 15" model of DP was first seen in the catalogs in 1936. However the "Driver Line" marketing name was dropped after the 1938 catalog year. Starting in the 1939 catalog year they instead started using the "Walker-Turner" name on their badges. That leaves 1936-1938 as a potential date range. If the base is original to the DP, then the date can be further narrowed down to 1936-37, as that base was standard issue in 1936, was an option in 1937, and was not listed in the 1938 catalog by which time they had transitioned to a round base.
