Comments:
Here she is, the (so far) only Hobbs Jointer known to exist.

Just rescued her from a fate no machine should have to suffer. Found her covered by tarps and a door and sunk about two inches into the dirt. I'll be hoisting her into dry dock in a couple days and will begin the restoration on this beast.

Near as I can determine it's a complete machine although it was disassembled when I came to get it. Fortunately everything but the base was stored inside and only has minor surface corrosion. Even the base is in fairly good shape with only surface rust and crud to deal with.

Babbitt bearings, two knife round head cutter.

The infeed (aproach end) table is wider than the outfeed (departure end) by about 6".

There was even a 3ph disconnect and starter still mounted on the hull.

Estimated weight; 1500-2000 lbs.

More pics to come as I get started on it.

Comments: Once on the planks it rolled out of the dirt very nicely.
