Iola Planing Mill sander. This is actually a combination unit. Known as a bracket arm sander and pin-boring machine. It has a weighted lever for driving the spindle when used for drilling and a removable 9" sand-paper disk for sanding. Adapted for boring holes in random positions as in pinning tenons in sash and door work. I never became adept at performing fine and controlled sanding with it. Most often used it to grind or knock down rough glue ups, corner joints, tennon pins, etc.
