Comments:
This is a continuation of my other posting and the saw's just about complete.

-The whole saw chassis and doors were sandblasted and primed before painting.
-The top had all the rust removed in a home made electrolosys tank (kids wading pool)
-The arbor has been turned to 5/8" from the stock 3/4". New spacers etc. were also made.
-I've added a hinged motor cover to aid with dust collection.
-The main bearings were replaced with NOS, OEM bearings (what a pain to find!)
-I rebuilt the trunnion assembly and had a new adjustment gib made for it (one was missing).
-I re-worked the trunnion mounting system to incorporate adjustment. From the factory it was approx 0.020" out of parallel across the blade. It's now within a 0.0005"
-The motor that came with it (Baldor 1.5HP) runs so I've remounted it. Looking for a 3hp though.
-Added link belt (all three of them).
-I've added a dust ramp inside the cabinet and a dust extraction flange on the rear of the exterior.
-I added an "Align-a-rip" 30" Beisemeyer style fence to the saw in spite of the broken apron.
-Adjusted all the positive stops (up, down, left right) and it's now nuts-on.

To do:
-I have a new two-pole "paddle" switch ready to install
-Remount the original name plates
-Wire the saw.
-Create a template for zero clearance insets. This is the original insert design and to say it's awkward is an understatement.
- I need to source the blind rivets to remount all the nameplates and finish the wiring. I should be making sawdust with it next week.

Enjoy!
