This drill press was my grandfathers; he acquired it in the 1960s. I do not know where he got it from or any more of the story behind it. After he retired he built clocks in his small basement shop. I have had it since 1998.
The deep throat on it is nice, and it makes a clean hole. It is hard to keep square to the drilling surface, and there is a lot of flex in the throat arm.
