A furniture and fixture company went out of business here in Dallas named Vlasic Wood Workers. They had a huge auction and the only thing that I bid on was this old W-T 2220. When I got it home I noticed that everything was loose on it and apparently they had disassembled it at one point and then thrown it back together fro the auction.
I got it running again but then I got called to other pastimes for a while and Ive let it sit . Shame on me.
Time to get the bearings replaced and everything tightened back up.
EDIT: This entry was updated to add a manufacture date range for the saw. This model, the 2200, seems to date from roughly 1953 to 1955. The type of manufcturer's badge this saw has was first used in 1953. A newer version of the saw is shown in the 1955 catalog. The original entry date for the post was 10/31/2006. Admin:DG
