From Peterson Planing Mill, St. Louis, Mo. Scissor legged, rolling table that drops cranks down for 12" capacity. The length of belt, or the length between driving and driven pulley centers, allows the use of concave & convex sanding blocks. All babbitt bearings. They are, once they reach this size, very versatile and productive sanders. They also provide a good upper body workout for the average sedentary woodworker, and there is a high 'learning curve' to become proficient with a stroke sander. Mastering the patting the head, rubbing the tummy simultaneously thing.
