Comments:
From Smith Lumber, Fall River, Mass. I have been using this table saw for six years and found it suits methods and habits of woodworking more than the others of this vintage I've restored and used previously. 24" width rip capacity, good crosscut capacity, and the fact that the table top is fixed, as opposed to it being elevated and lowered to adjust blade height as so many table saws of this vintage did. Also, having the wood frame base and iron top directly takes us back to the time when they weren't called table saws, but were known as " saw tables". To be honest, that's probably why I like it. This and all nineteenth century table saws have one limitation or another. The biggest being the rarity of the tilting arbor.
