Comments:
This was my great grandfathers wood lathe and he probably bought it used. It was in the possession of my second cousin for the past twenty years and was thrilled when he agreed to sell it to me. It is in excellent condition and works like a dream. The lathe is very old, heavy and very stable. The headstock was origonally designed for a flat belt but a V- belt seems to work just fine. My only concern so far is I might not be able to get a very high RPM with its current gearing system but time will tell; I just got it set up.
