This saw came to me with a toasted 3PH motor. I found out that these motors really can't be repaired. The motor was replaced with a 1PH Craftsman ( Emerson was the OEM for the motors ).
33-890 was 1PH with no motor control
33-891 was 1PH with Low Voltage motor control
33-892 was 3PH with Low Voltage motor control.
I now have the 3PH motor contol w/ 1PH 13a motor.... works very well. Since the motor mount works w/ Emerson motors, I am sure that I could put a Rigid RAS motor on as well.
This has replaced my DeWalt 7790... the cross cut is 2" narrower but the saw is extremely accurate.
