The bandsaw/jointer was passed down to me from my Uncle. His father bought the it in 1936. There is what is left of a horizontal mortiser on one side that was added sometime later. I also was given all the bits brand new in boxes from the 1930's. It has been on his farm in Napa since I was a child and I am lucky one to get it after the farm was sold. I also given in 1978, a 6x48 Craftsman belt sander and an 6 inch planer from 1938 or so.
I'm currently restoring the bandsaw and jointer. I think the mortiser has seen better days.
