Picked up this saw at the Ottoville Lumber Co (Ohio) after buying a 1905 Crescent Band Saw from a fellow OWWM er and picking it up at the lumber yard. When I got there the owner asked if I'd be interested in the table saw as the person that bought it on *B*y paid for it but never got back with them about picking it up. I finally got ahold of the buyer and he agreed to sell it to me for what he paid. The saw seems to be complete except for the miter gage. It looks like the flat belt pulley was machined for 3 v belts. There is a 3 phase 5 hp motor attached which also has the flat belt pulley that runs the band saw. All the bearings seem good and the saw spins free..... I need to get my phase converter built so I can fire it up. I think it might be older than 1904 because the blade height lock is in a differant position than what shows in the 1904 catalog. Also, there are no Patent dates on the saw. The owner of the lumber company said she assumes the band saw and table saw were bought at the same time but isn't sure. This saw as well as the band saw will have to wait for resurection until our new house is finished..... hopefully we'll have them up and running by next spring.
