EDIT: This lathe has been sold to a good home, but that was the plan all along.
I ran across another lathe today that I could not pass up, I bought it at an auction for a song! To top it off, it came with a MT2 live center & 1/2" Jacobs chuck that has already been hijacked for my Delta. The lathe has a ball bearing headstock and indexable pulley. The lathe came with a 12" tool rest and a MT2 with a 1" x 8tpi headstock. She's pretty heavy for this size lathe, complete and in good shape.
EDIT: This lathe can be found in the 1941 Craftsman catalog on page 23 (see publications on this site) This lathe was also designed to be fitted with metal turning tools. They also sold a 15" extension bed for just $4.25 ~sigh, wish I could find one for that cost today!
That page listed the 4 speeds when driven by a 1750 1/2 hp motor at 700-1300-2300-4300
Web page progress can be seen here, and I also have 35 digital photos so feel free to ask!
