I recently bought another Master 30 disc sander off a well known online auction site. When I picked it up I saw the Little wonder and negotiated a deal. Both machines I`m told were from a shop in Philadelphia that made the patterns for the 57 T Bird, or so the story goes.
The machine is three phase, unknown horsepower. There is a lever to turn the oscillations off. The switch you see it a three pole switch. It comes with what appears to be a an unremovable 1" spindle, a 1 1/2" steel sleeve, and 2", 2 1/2", 3" and 4" inch rubber drums.
I also have this machines big brother, similar in design but substantially heavier, it has a Peerless motor,7 and 9 diameter aluminum spindles to which the sandpaper is glued and a 36 square table. I`ll upload some pics when I get a chance.
